Update the Pattern File Manually Parent topic

To manually update the pattern file (lpt$vpn.xxx):
  1. Download and save to a temporary directory on the IWSVA server the latest Official Pattern Release (OPR) file:
    http://downloadcenter.trendmicro.com/index.php?clk=left_nav&clkval=pattern_file&regs=NABU
    Enter the following search criteria:
    • Category: Internet Gateway
    • Product: InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance
    • Version: Current product version
    • Download Types: No selection
  2. Also from the IWSVA server, stop all IWSVA services.
  3. Extract the contents of the compressed file you downloaded to following folder:
    /etc/iscan
  4. Restart all the IWSVA services, then refresh the IWSVA console.
