Internet performance slowdown after installing IWSVA Parent topic

When sized appropriately, and with recommended system requirements, IWSVA scanning, URL filtering, and other policy operations will not typically introduce a user- noticeable delay on Internet transactions.
For each instance of IWSVA installed on the network, you can expect it to comfortably handle 1000 concurrent connections (for a single CPU machine) with a less than two second performance impact.
Solutions
  • Install IWSVA on a dual or quad CPU server—dual CPU supports 4000 concurrent users, while a quad can support 9000+ concurrent users
  • Add another instance of IWSVA to the network
  • Increase server memory (especially if you are using URL filtering)
  • Increase the number of IWSVA threads
