HTTP > URL Filtering > Policies | Policy | Safe Search Engine
IWSVA supports the Safe Search feature provided by the filtering mechanism of search engines (such as Google.com and Yahoo.com). Safe Search is used to specifically filter out adult sites and content from the search results and helps protect children from exposure to adult material.
Note: IWSVA currently supports Safe Search for the global domains of the Google, Yahoo!, Bing and YouTube search engine.
Warning:
1. If a search engine Web site is
included in the Global Trusted URL list, Safe Search filtering is
not applied.
2. If a user selects a stricter
Safe Search level in the search engine preference section, the user-defined
Safe Search settings take precedence over the settings in IWSVA.
Select a Safe Search setting for each search engine and click Save.
Strict—Filters out adult contents from all search results (both image and Web searches)
Moderate—Filters out adult contents from Web search results only (excluding image searches).
Off—Does not filter search results. This is the default setting.
