Problem
After installing IWSVA, clients are no longer able to listen to Web radio, view video clips, or use streamed media. Certain download managers may no longer work correctly.
Reason
IWSVA is configured to scan streaming media files, which can interfere with the streamed arrival of data to the client machine.
Solution
From the main IWSVA menu, click HTTP > HTTP Malware Scan > Policies and then choose from the list the policy you want to change.
Open the Virus Scan Rule tab, if it is not already.
In the MIME content-type to skip section, do one or more of the following:
Check the category of MIME content types you wish to exempt from scanning (Audio, Image or Video.)
Check the check box for Other field and type the MIME type(s) that you do not want IWSVA to scan.
Separate multiple values with a space.
Enter the MIME type in the Other: field followed by a subtype to specify only that subtype application/pdf application/x-director
