Description

Virus Scan Engine

The Virus Scan Engine employs basic pattern matching and heuristic scanning technology to identify threats.

Advanced Threat Scan Engine (ATSE)

ATSE performs aggressive scanning to check for less conventional threats such as document exploits. By enhancing the features of the Virus Scan Engine, ATSE detects possible advanced threats that can be sent to Virtual Analyzer for further analysis.

Note

IMSVA integrates with Virtual Analyzer, which is an isolated virtual environment used to manage and analyze samples within Deep Discovery Analyzer.
