By registering IWSVA, you receive an activation code via email. This code is required
to enable scanning and product updates, which includes pattern files, engine files,
and program update. An activation code is 37 characters (including the hyphens) and
has the following format:, and then enter the Activation Code to enable product updates
including pattern files, engine files, and program updates.

A registration key has 22 characters (including the hyphens) and has the following
format:

To obtain an activation code online:

Open the IWSVA console and then click Administration > Product License.

Obtain an activation code by
registering IWSVA (click the link at the top of the page to register and then follow the on-screen
instructions).

Click the Enter a new code link.

When prompted, type the activation code in the Activation Code field and then click Activate.

For maintenance renewal, contact Trend Micro sales or your reseller. Click Check Status Online to manually update the maintenance expiration date on the Product License page.
