Possible reasons a download was stopped Parent topic

IWSVA may trigger a detection for any of the following reasons:
  • A virus, Trojan, worm, spyware file, etc. was detected
  • The file was password protected, encrypted, or corrupt (unreadable)
  • The file was compressed, and Block Compressed files is selected (HTTP > HTTP Malware Scan > Policies > [policy name] | Virus Scan Rule page)
    • Compressed file contains too many layers compression
    • Decompressed file size will be too big
    • The decompression ratio of any file contained in the compressed archive exceeds the limit set
    • number of files contained in the archive would have exceeded the set limit down
  • User has exceeded his/her bandwidth quota
  • The file exceeded the specified maximum file size: (HTTP > HTTP Malware Scan > Policies > [policy name] > Virus Scan Rule)
  • The client connection timed out
  • One of the IWSVA pattern files contains an error (rollback to previous version)
  • IWSVA installation topological is incorrect (traffic routing problem)
  • Web traffic is turned off in the Summary page
