Proxy Authentication Window Does Not Appear Parent topic

If the proxy authentication window no longer appears after installing IWSVA, check the following:
  • Check that you can connect to the Internet through IWSVA.
  • Check that you have LDAP support enabled.
    1. From the main IWSVA menu, click Administration > IWSVA Configuration > User Identification | User Identification.
    2. The setting User/group name authentication must be selected.
  • Confirm that your LDAP connection is OK.
    1. Confirm that the LDAP information entered for each field is correct.
    2. Click Test LDAP Connection to see if it returns a success message.
    3. If multiple LDAP servers are enabled, click Test LDAP Connection of all these servers to see if they return a success message.

    The clock/time on LDAP and the IWSVA servers must be identical, or at least close. Trend Micro recommends that you use Time/Clock synchronization software too keep the machines in synch.
