You can install multiple instances of IWSVA on a LAN to accommodate high HTTP bandwidth
               demands:

               -

Set up multiple IWSVA ICAP servers to work with a single ICAP client (load balancing)
-

Set up multiple transparency mode servers to use a Layer 4 (L4) switch for load balancing
                     and fail over
-

Set up multiple HTTP stand-alone servers to use WCCP for load balancing and fail over
-

Set up multiple IWSVA servers in High Availability mode where the parent member configuration
is automatically synchronized to the child member.
In most cases, one IWSVA server must be designated as the "parent", and the configuration
files must be synchronized through the CCR, manually or by Schedule. However, for
HA mode, the active node and passive node synchronize configurations automatically.

                     | | Note

When running multiple instances of IWSVA together, it is very important that your
pattern files, URL blocking policies, and system clocks on each server match, and
then remain in synch. Trend Micro recommends that if you will be using multiple instances of IWSVA, that
you do so using Trend Micro Control Manager. |
