Configuring Approved and Blocked Sender Lists Parent topic

To provide added flexibility to spam filtering scanning conditions, IMSVA provides the following lists:
Approved sender list
Prevents IMSVA from identifying messages from senders in this list as spam.
Blocked sender list
Forces IMSVA to identify messages from senders in this list as spam.
Configure the lists when you select spam scanning conditions.

Procedure

  1. Select the check box next to Approved sender list or Blocked sender list.
  2. To add addresses manually, do the following:
    1. Next to Email address, specify the address. To add multiple addresses, use the asterisk (*) wildcard.
    2. Click Add.
    The address appears in the list.
  3. To import an address group from a file on a local host to the IMSVA server, do the following:
    1. Click Import.
    2. Click Browse and locate the file. A dialog box appears.
    3. Click Open.
    4. If addresses are already in the list, choose whether to merge them or overwrite them with the imported list.
    5. Click Import.
  4. To export an address group as a file on the IMSVA server, do the following:
    1. Click Export. A Save dialog box appears.
    2. Click Save.
    3. Specify a name for the file and a location to save the file.
    4. Click Save. The file saves to the location and a dialog appears.
    5. Click Close.
  5. Click Save.
