About Internal Domains Parent topic

Configure your company’s internal domains to distinguish between incoming and outgoing mail traffic. You can configure ScanMail to scan all email messages or only incoming email messages to detect security risks and undesirable data.
ScanMail allows the usage of the asterisk (*) wildcard to specify internal domains. In order to use the wildcard operator, the following rules apply:
  • The asterisk placement is at the beginning of the domain name.
  • The asterisk precedes a period (.).
